Explorer, photographer and educator Christopher Williams seeks to create otherworldly images out of everyday scenes, and shine a light on small worlds unseen by others. By day he works at the the B&H Photo SuperStore in New York City, while on his own time he continues to learn and teach photography to both children and adults. He was the creatora Rochester, NY high school photography course for underprivileged students, Lead Contributing Author of NYFalls.com, and the subject of two "Favorite Photographer" school projects (Thanks Levi & Heather!).
His photography has been featured in gallery exhibitions, public seminars, textbooks, magazine publications, and on the cover of a book for sale in Barnes & Noble/Borders bookstores (RIP Borders).
Chris' photographic style is most inspired by his first photography professor
Byron Wolfe,
NOPATTERN's innovative Chuck Anderson, the great
Ansel Adams, Hungarian extraordinaire
Bence Mate, as well as Flickr's
Angelique(Liek) and
Aaron Nace.
