Christopher Williams (cwwphotos) > Treeclipse.

Made a return trip to Hamlin Beach but brought proper gear this time: 3 shirts, hoodie, jacket, 2 gloves, hat, pajama pants, jeans, 4 socks, and 2 boots.

And I was still cold in the single-degree air!
Christopher Williams (cwwphotos) > Behind Closed Doors.

A bathroom in the Haiekala Walnut Shelling Plant's abandoned manor. Taken moments before a light breeze moved the shower curtain next to me and I nearly jumped out of my skin!
Christopher Williams (cwwphotos) > Low Bridge.

Floating down a stream, that at times is less than 4 feet wide, I had to slide the canoe beneath tree limbs before ducking at the last moment to continue adventuring.
Christopher Williams (cwwphotos) > In lieu of the upcoming February 14th holiday I'd been keeping an eye out for anything pink or "Valentine-like." Then the other day I looked up and saw the clouds turning pink in the sunset! Just in time for next Saturday. ;)

P.S.--I also like to think the clouds in the center fan out in a giant heart shape, but I don't know how easy it is for others to see.
Christopher Williams (cwwphotos) > Morning Bog.

Took my first [of many!] photo walks with my dad a few days ago and showed him around one of my favorite parks to shoot.

I noticed this pool and was taking some shots of it and suddenly the sun broke through the clouds and poured through the trees to brighten up the scene.
Christopher Williams (cwwphotos) > Sometimes puddles are just asking for it...
Christopher Williams (cwwphotos) > Natural Terrarium.
Christopher Williams (cwwphotos) > Bokeh Flare.

There was one spot of sunlight left on the grass, coming through the trees, at sunset. I pointed my camera up and discovered this view before the sun continued to set.
Christopher Williams (cwwphotos) > Tai Chi-ish.

My youngest brother Ryan messing around in the silhouette of a tunnel opening; beneath a bridge in Alexander, NY.
Christopher Williams (cwwphotos) > The Architect.

Sitting in the center of its universe.
Christopher Williams (cwwphotos) > Love what you Do.

This was, at the time, the undisputed favorite image I had ever taken.
Christopher Williams (cwwphotos) > Day Before the Storm.

With 60mph gusts, horizontal rain and sleet, yesterday was an eerie calm to today's big storm. This was also taken behind a Walmart Superstore.
Christopher Williams (cwwphotos) > Mutual Tension.

I'm not sure which of us was more startled while encountering the other along the trail here, but I didn't want to let this opportunity slip by so I immediately knelt down and donned as comforting and soothing a demeanor as possible.

While shooting like crazy.

This young guy [or girl?] proceeded to go about it's business eating the wet grass and freshly fallen leaves, all while keeping both ears and a watchful eye on me.

Nearly a half an hour went by before the deer began acting strange. It at one point froze stiff, staring at me, yet almost staring beyond me.

That's when the hair on my neck stood up and I imagined a wolf creeping in behind me, or a cougar ready to pounce! [it could've been a Grizzly for all I knew! Unlikely as they may be in these parts ;)] I slowly turned and peered through the trees and bushes behind me, on the opposite side of the trail.

When I felt [relatively] sure nothing was stalking it, or me, I gave my goodbye and we both parted; I with my camera and jacket, the deer with a fellow White-Tail.
Christopher Williams (cwwphotos) > Prey.
Christopher Williams (cwwphotos) > Wedding Bowl.

One of the centerpiece decorations for the wedding reception was a large water-filled bowl with a few of these flowers floating inside. I, of course loved the bubbles!
